This Instagram guide to Miami covers the five best places to take pictures in the city that brings the heat!

Miami is one of the top vacation destinations in the U.S. and for good reason! I love the combination of beautiful beaches and busy downtown. There’s so much energy and excitement in Miami. From a hipster neighborhood covered in street art, to authentic Latin American cuisine, to high end luxury shopping, Miami has it all. Here’s my guide to the five best Instagram spots in Miami!

1. Fendi Building in Design District

Miami’s Design District is a high end shopping area.  Fendi opened a 5,400 square foot store here and its facade makes for a colorful Instagram shot. The store’s exterior is in collaboration with designer and architect Johannah Grawunder. It changes color frequently and I’ve seen it orange (pictured), red and even rainbow!

2. Wynwood Walls

The Wynwood neighborhood of Miami is full of colorful street art. These murals make for a great Instagram shot! Within the neighborhood is Wynwood Walls, an outdoor urban graffiti art museum. In addition to the Wynwood Walls museum you’ll find beautiful murals throughout the neighborhood.

3. Gilded Woolly Mammoth

This ten-foot-tall, 25-karat gilded Woolly Mammoth is one of the most unique Instagram spots in Miami! It’s located at Faena Hotel Miami Beach. Enter the hotel’s lobby and walk out to the garden, you can’t miss this giant gold skeleton! While I wasn’t staying at the hotel, no one seemed to mind me visiting. I loved looking around the grounds of Faena as well, the whole hotel is a work of art!

4. Art Deco Historic District

Miami is home to the country’s highest concentration of Art Deco architecture! There are close to 1,000 historic buildings in Miami built in the Art Deco style. You’ll see these old buildings throughout Miami but  the best ones can be found on Collins Avenue, Ocean Drive and Washington Avenue. I love that they’re all painted pretty pastel colors!

5. South Beach Lifeguard Huts

You can find colorful lifeguard stands up and down South Beach. They all have different colors and designs and really pop against the white sand. I recommend taking a morning walk along South Beach to find your favorite stand, and to get your picture taken before they’re occupied!
