A LOCAL’S PICKS IN PALM SPRINGS

In my opinion, the best way to experience a new place is through getting the recommendations of locals. I always do research online when planning a trip, but love talking to people who live in the town I’m visiting. They’re more likely to know about under the radar spots and offer less touristy suggestions. While in Palm Springs I met with local wedding and lifestyle photographer Brianna Broyles to take some snaps around town. Brianna is incredibly talented, and was also so sweet to share her favorite things to do in town in between shots.

My favorite thing about Palm Springs is the abundant resources to explore the desert and take in the beauty of nature while also admiring the mid-century design throughout the valley.

A fun girls night out what be grabbing dinner at Lulus, walking around at the street fair on Thursday nights and grab a shake from Great Shakes!

For me, the ultimate Palm Springs outfit is a pair of comfy jean shorts, my rainbows, a flowey blouse and a cute sunhat!

About 15 minutes east in Palm Desert you will find the cutest boutique restaurant, Wilma and Frieda’s (recently featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives). Their Eggs Benedict is the BOMB.com!

Ernest Coffee is hands-down the BEST in downtown. I’m always looking for the a good almond milk latte and they serve it up!

The Ace Hotel is the place to be if you’re looking for a fun weekend dancing in the pool in the heart of Palm Springs.

You won’t go wrong grabbing Lulu California Bistro for a nice dinner in the heart of downtown. Grab a seat on the patio and you get a nice view of the city at night!

Beat the high temperatures by staying near the pool with ice cold drinks.
